Werribee Park Mansion ni dibina oleh Thomas and Andrew Chirnside pada tahun between 1874 and 1877. Kire derang ni cam orang kaya bangsawan la kat tempat ni..Mansion ni besa sgt! derang ni ada Farm n de suka bela binatang, ble de dah mati most of his animals de kasi dekat zoo..n terbinalah Werribee Zoo. 
Kat cni boleh jugak kalu nk tangkap gamba pakai baju orang dulu2..n it's Free!!cuma, de hanya ada ari Sabtu je, n better call dulu for confirmation sebb yang buat ni volunteer. Maybe ade masa2 volunteer ni x 'volunteer' ..
Klua cket dari Mansion ni ada Victoria State Rose Garden, byk bunge rose kat cni..wangi n cantik!!

Sand Sculpting Australia Frankston Waterfront 2011/2012

For 2011/2012 sand sculpting the themed was around toys. So, semua sculptures bentuk toys..cantik! So, what is sand sculpting? Sand sculpting is when sculptors from Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, Ireland, UK, Canada, USA and Malaysia?no...Malaysia xde..so, derang ni akan join Aussies sculptors to carve tonnes of sand to 'life' as Sand Sculpting Australia at Frankston Waterfront every year. So, every year lepas boxing day (26th December until Anzac Day 28 April) akan adela sand sculpting ni..If I'm not mistaken, derang carved it everyday!Ye la..pasir kan..bukan simen or batu..so kene la ukir tiap ari..

Dekat cni, boleh gak kalu nk try pakai baju derang tu..n amek gamba..but kene baya n agak mahal..soo..kitorg cam..next time la ek..hihihi;p

My tips:

2. makan boleh makan kat dalam, nak kata mahal..xdela..ok2 je kot..xde makanan halal dekat cni, tp boleh la nk makan roti n air ke..as for us, dah makn heavy breakfast so kenyang la jugak smpai petg.
3. kalu bwak baby, jgn lupe topi n stroller cover sebb dalam tu pasir je...angin plak kuat, confirm masuk mata plus kilang2 de sem berabok la..xbgus sgt tuk ank2 kecil ni..
4. souvenirs kalu x sempat beli dalam, klua cket dr tempt tu ada kedai souvenirs. Mostly de jual bende yg sama je ape yg ada kat dalam tu..harga pun sama.. 
5. lepas abis jalan dalam Sovereign Hill jagn lupe pegi Gold Museum, depan tu je..cross the road..sebb tiket skali dgn Gold Museum, rugila kalu x pegi..

Sydney

We went to Sydney in 2011..lama dah...pegi dengan family Kak Naimah Yaakob..Kitorg x plan pun..just cam..eh jom pg Sydney..Then soknye, I trus call malaysian hall n lucky for us ada kosong, n trus book kereta...The journey was about 10-11 hours kot..kitorg adela berenti for solat sem..bertolak malam, then sampai pg..on the way tu jumpe gigantic wind turbines...cam besa gile!!cam elien..hihihi

Time ni dalam kul 6-7 am...muke pun cam sememeh je...n seb baik Afiq tdo time ni..kalu x mane mama leh posing2 sakan gini..dalm kul 10 cam tu..smpai la ke Malaysian Hall..Tp, xleh nk check in lagi sebb derg tgh kemas2 bilik..so, kitorg jalan2 dekat Bondi Beach...

Time ni Afiq kecek lagi..I think umur de baru 8 bulan time ni..

Taiwan, Kaohsiung

We went for Taiwan, Kaohsiung for 5 days!!

Actually we went for conference, but of course la  ade jalan2 cket. The conference (APMC 2012) was good, I got a lot of good feedback..and the best part is, Koichi Ito was impressed with my presentation and I was praised personally by him in front of my supervisor!yeayyy!! and who is Koichi Ito, senang cerita, de guru Antenna la...boleh google pasal de kot kalu nk tau.

A lot of people interested to collaborate with us..which is good...and I also met Dr Kamal, he's my external examiner from UTM during my MSc. And he also presented his papers and posters (he has 11 papers accepted, if I'm not mistaken). I admire the way he presented his paper, very calm, persuasive and selamber! really shows his confident and the way he handle Q n A was very good! I also admire my supervisor presentation, of course la kan. He presented his paper before my presentation, and he said, do not afraid Yana, just watched how I did it, and I'm sure it will develop your confidence level. well, xpun sebenarnye...lagi takut adela...at first, cam biasa I was lajuuu...then I manage to control it, and it went well..Most important thing is my supervisor love it and said GOOD JOB!hihihi;p

Jalan2 kat Kaohsiung Taiwan, agak tenang cket compared to Hong Kong..Xde org je...maybe penduduk xramai kot..but, shopping kat cni mmg best...lagi best kot dr Hong Kong. Kasut n baju lg murah gle..nak2 kitorg gune duit OZ mmg murh la kan..my supervisor said, ridiculously cheap!!mostly from our hotel to mana2 tempt, just 100TWD, lebey kurg RM10 or 3AUD je..hihihi..murh gleeeee...I'm comparing with oz dollar so murh la, but for me kalu compare with RM agak not bad la kan..huhuhu..

so dekat sana, aku hangkut 1 bju for winter for 30AUD, hihihi..best gle..n 2 kasut, 1 boot n 1 flat shoes for summer. 

Tips:

• kalu nk mudah, baik translate kan siap2 nama2 tempat nak pegi tu in Mandarin, cuz derang x faham english. lagi mudah bwk je name card hotel tunjuk kat taxi driver...
• it is better kalu boleh sgt ckp mandarin, yg basic2 ke..lucky for me, i know basic mandarin..a bit..so senang cket nk communicate or faham la jugak ape derg cakap...nk lagi senang, guna google translate...hihihi
• naik dergnye train 20TWD je..but for me, lagi senang naik taxi..
• walaupun kat cni ada SASA jugak..tp, SASA hongkong lagi murah..but baju n kasut, cni much cheaper..
• night market derg just like pasar malam..byk jual seafood je..mayb kaohsiung ni perlabuhan kot..so seafood je..nk cr souvenirs payah gleee...kedai jual fridge magnet mahal gle!!ade satu kedai je pun..not kedai la..it's just a stall..dah la buruk.mahal lak tu..lebey kurg 100 TWD..tu pun yg paling murh..dah la x lawa...
• for makanan halal, x byk option, ade 4 kedai je yg halal dalam kaohsiung..kedai mamak mostly mahal giloos..but kedai indon dekat sebelah masjid tu murh glee!!or boleh makan vegi food derg..sedap jugak!

TRIP to HongKong (Disneyland)

3 Hari 2 Malam

Day 1
4.30 p.m - Arrive at Hong Kong Airport
buy octopus card at ticket counter (pastikan map MTR always in your hand!)

(adults - HKD 150)
(child - HKD 25)
** The octopus card can be redeemed at the airport as well.

Take MTR
Tambang MTR ke Hotel : 66 HKD (Mahal sebab Airport Express,    otherwise murah je..less than 10 HKD - I think, x hengat dah)

Travel time : 30 minutes

MTR derang laju giler kot!! Bedesup..

6.00 p.m – Check in Panda Hotel (MTR Tai Wo Hau, or Tsuen Wan) but, Tai Wo Haul lg dekat.

For the 1st day, we didn’t go anyway.. just shopping at the hotel area..Panda Hotel is a very nice Hotel!.. Nice and cosy, and the best part is, shopping complex is just under you! It in the same building!!best gler kot!..Byk sgt shopping complex nearby, xcukup bawah hotel, depan hotel, kiri kanan sem shopping2!!
For dinner, we just had Mc D..it’s just around the corner..hihihi..
For MTR, stop at Tai Wo Hau St, and take B2 exit, just follow the sign to Panda Hotel!

Day 2

9.30 p.m – Disneyland!!!

Take MTR Tai Wo Hau to Lai King,
From Lai King change here and Take Tung Chung Line towards Tung Chung and change train at Disney Resort Line.

2nd Day, we took shuttle bus provided by the Hotel..but we didn’t know that the shuttle bus is actually going to Yau Ma Tei St, we thought it going to the nearest MTR Station, which is Lai King.. Lesson learned here…huhuhu..So, instead of going to Disneyland, we end up at Mongkok!!soo…we do jalan2 around MongKok for a while and decided to go to ladies market, since we already there, but surprisingly, none of the shops were open yet..it’s already 11 o’clock in the morning!!huhuhu…So, we headed back to Mongkok MTR and went straight away to Disneyland!!yeayy...
We spend about 5-6 hours there.. Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest Disneyland in the world..so,5 hours basically was more than enough.. So, we head back to Mong Kok again, and this time, Mong Kok is totally different. It’s so busy, lots of people, and it is shopping time!

DAY 3 (Last Day)
CITYGATE Factory Outlet, Lantau Island
10.00 a.m – Check out From Panda Hotel

Take MTR Tai Wo Hau and change at MTR Lai King 
From MTR Lai King change train Tung Chung Line towards Tung Chung Station
simpan luggage di Citygate (coins only) B1 and B2
shopping time! (designer boutiques, shops)
Club 21, coach factory, Timberland outlet, Esprit outlet, Escada, Bally, Kookai, Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren, Sasa (and many more)
or kalau ada berminat nak naik Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car pon kat sini jugak.. 

3.30 p.m – AIRPORT 

Naik Bas S1 dari Citygate (journey 10 – 15 minutes to airport) (HKD 3.5)
or Taxi ~(HKD 20) to airport..

2. Disneyland
As for me, book from the website, sebab we don't like beratur sem2 ni..but, kalau nak discount HKD30 off, boleh amik tourist-day-pass (valid one day saja).. or else amik octopus card jer... tapi takde discount lah.. 

3. Octopus Card
octopus card harga dia HKD150 (deposit HKD50-which u can redeem later) so, u actually has HKD100 untuk guna.. If it is not sufficient for your trip, you may top-up at MTR station.. 

4. MTR
Plan your MTR Journey, kalu x cam confuse nk pegi mana or nk kluar gate mane, but no worries, kalu xtau or xnak sesat just tanye the counter. They know basic english. As i said, basic ya..Do not attempt to speak advanced English or speak too fast, cuz they won't get it. 
MTR derang laju gler, plus jangan risau xtau nk benti stesen mana sebb dalm tu ada tulis sem, and nak turun belah mana pun bg tau. Orang2 Hong Kong beratur nk masuk n keluar, bgus gle kot.. 

5. Halal Food
We just ate McD, smpai naik boring kot, asyik makan ikannn je..But, I saw a lot of Muslim selamber je makan McD..n actually kitorg byk kali terserempak dgn muslims..derg nampak cam Indonesian, tp cakp cina dah..Next time (kalu datang lagi) nak try Islamic Centre Canteen kat Wan Chai..Some people says at Tsim Sha Tsui banyak restoran pakistan.. so boleh try kat sana. Oh, in Disneyland ada Halal Food kat Adventure Land.. 

6. Ladies Market

Derang bukak lambat, better pg malam je..but pukul 11 derang kalut nk tutup dah..Ladies market ni xdela besa sgt..kecik je kot, plus nk kata souvenirs banyak sgt xdela pun..byk hand bags sem tu la..or mayb boleh pegi Stanley Market, but kitorg x pegi sebb jauh..

  

Hong Kong, I could say everybody kindda wearing a designer bag, shoes and clothes, at first I thought, Kaya gle derg sem ni!! But, then I realise, you easily found these cheap n fake designer bags everywhere!! 

And I can say, Hong Kong’s people are nice and friendly.. Plus  tertip kot..derg beratur sem..n lorong kiri n kanan x bercampur..I think their government make them like that, which is good..I think..yea.it’s good.. we should do that in Malaysia!
